The format is back-loaded by design. Makers work in teams of two, with up to two teams per station and up to three stations running side by side. Each round raises the stakes. By Round 3, anyone can win.

The facilitator builds one cocktail from scratch in front of the room. Every tool, every decision, every technique narrated live. This becomes the reference point for Round 1. No one is scored. Everyone pays attention.
Makers replicate the 101 cocktail, focusing on the technique and tips observed in The 101 round. Judges score each cocktail using a criteria card covering balance, presentation, and technique. First scores go on the live leaderboard.
Judges order from a cheat sheet of cocktails and mocktails. Makers deliver to order, drawing on the technique and range built across the first round. Scores update live. Leaderboard positions shift.
Makers build completely from scratch, name the cocktail, and pitch it to their judges in 30 seconds. Anyone can win going in. The stakes are highest.
Worth more than Rounds 1 and 2 combinedTwo awards are presented. The Collective Cup goes to the winning maker team. The Palate Award goes to the judge pair whose scores tracked closest to the panel consensus, rewarding accuracy over generosity.
Every score lands here first. Standings shift in real time as each round wraps, so the room feels every point, not just the final tally. It's the difference between an activity people sit through and a moment they're actually locked into.
Displayed in the room, updated round by round as scores come in.
Every Craft Collective event runs on two tracks: makers build, judges score, both happening at once in the same room. The Collective Cup takes this furthest, running three full rounds with two separate awards on the line.
